  3. I am lucky enough to have already had one adventure this summer, one that you may want to get your parents to let you experience some hot summer day in Florida. I went, with some of the grandchildren, tubing down the Itchetucknee River, a beautiful river that flows from a clear spring that boils up from the inside of the earth. The year round temperature of the water is always 72 degrees. The power of the water flowing out of the earth propels you down the river on your tube. You can see fish, snails, birds, huge cypress trees, and turtles and have a great time enjoying nature and, occasionally, trying to flip someone over into the cool water. You can also canoe and kayak, but tubing is really more fun as long as it is summertime. So, there are adventures right here in Florida to enjoy when we have to stay close to home.
We will look forward to hearing about your experiences. I've never been to the Grand Canyon or Brice-maybe some year we can join up with you.
    Love-GIGI
